Shillong: The State Government held an All Political Party Meet on Friday to discuss on the issue pertaining to Roster system implemented in the State.
Speaking to reporters after the meeting, Congress leader and CPL, Ronnie V Lyngdoh expresses satisfaction on the presentation presented by the government during the meeting. Lyngdoh said the Chief Minister Conrad Sangma has made a detailed explanation on Roster, Lyngdoh said there is no partiality to any community and feel that the present system should continue as it is.
Whereas, the TMC leaders has suggested the implementation of Roster should be prospectively and not retrospectively. TMC Leader and former MLA, Zenith Sangma has also expresses satisfaction but said that as per the government presentation Roster is based only in job recruitment not academically.
