Nongstoiñ, October 9: The National People’s Party (NPP) held a special meeting today aimed at strengthening the party’s activities in Nongstoiñ. The gathering, led by Manoy Byrsat, working president of NPP Nongstoiñ Block, took place at Mecofed Hall.
In a significant development, Gabriel Wahlang was appointed as the adhoc president of NPP Nongstoiñ Block, while Macmillan Byrsat will continue his role as president of NPP West Khasi Hills District. The meeting was attended by numerous supporters of both the former and current MLAs, signaling a united front for the party in the region.
