The Nongstoiñ Block Congress Committee, in collaboration with the West Khasi Hills District Congress Committee, has announced a public meeting to clarify the resignation of MLA and MDC Gabriel Wahlang from the Congress party.
The event will take place at the Market Complex in New Nongstoiñ on October 11 at 1 PM. Party leaders, including former Shillong MP and Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee President Vincent H. Pala, will address the gathering. Other Congress MLAs are also expected to participate.
The meeting aims to provide clarity on Wahlang’s departure from the party, which has sparked discussions within the constituency.
