Adelbert Nongrum, MLA of North Shillong constituency said that his joining the VPP comes after his vision on issues of the people which the VPP has brought forward especially after he decided to contest the upcoming election from the VPP.
Speaking with Adelbert Nongrum,he said that the meaning of the VPP is the Voice of the People and with this ideology on mind, he will raise the demand and the voice of the people in the Legislative Assembly.
On being queried about his opponents, he said that he feels nothing, and he cannot fight the election by spending money as others do, but he stands with a clear conscience and added also by stating that he does not have what others have and others do not have what they need, and that is to stand for the better future.
