Shillong, March 28: The President of the Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee said that action needed to take on the 5 suspended MLAs of the Congress is one that has to come straight from the All India Congress Committee (AICC).
He said that the MPCC had a meeting again today in order to take the resolution of informing the AICC that a show cause notice has been issued to all the 5 MLAs but no response was received from them and it is upto the AICC now to direct them on what action needs to be taken on the 5 MLAs. He also said that he cannot say much on whether the temporary suspension will remain or whether it will expulsion for the 5 MLAs until instructions are received from the AICC.
