In a bid to improve educational infrastructure, Nongpoh MLA Mayral Born Syiem visited Kharpati village in Ri Bhoi District, where he met with teachers and students of Raid Hoppati Christian Secondary School. During the visit, he officially handed over a Work Order amounting to Rs 2 lakh under the SRWP MLA Scheme for the construction of a boundary wall for the school. The Work Order was received by the school’s principal, Bah Nirmal Terang, in the presence of teachers, students, and parents.
Addressing the gathering, MLA Mayral Born Syiem highlighted the importance of students understanding the National Education Policy (NEP) and preparing for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) to advance their educational pursuits. He also offered to arrange special programs where experts would guide the students on these key topics.
