Shillong: The Meghalaya Board of School Education (MBOSE) on Tuesday, April 7, announced the results of the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) examination.
In this year’s results, 50 students have secured places in the Top 20 merit list, led by Wangaal Lama of Gorkha Pathshala Higher Secondary School, Shillong, who emerged as the top scorer.
The SSLC examination for this academic year was conducted from January 30 to February 11 at centres across the state.
The results declared today show that 48,623 students appeared for the examination, out of which 42,228 successfully passed, taking the overall pass percentage to 86.84 per cent.
