In part to promote education in Ri-Bhoi District and the State as a whole, on the 20th of April, Mawtnum Presbyterian Centenary Memorial Secondary School in Mawtnum village inaugurated the newly built classrooms which were built at a cost of Rs.3 lakhs through the SRWP scheme.
The new classrooms were inaugurated by Jason Sawkmie Mawlong, MLA of Umsning constituency in the presence of senior members of the villages such as Tbn. R.R.Kynsai Makdoh, Dr.K.Nongmalieh, teachers of Mawtnum Presbyterian Centenary Memorial Secondary School, the students along with their parents.
