Linkin Park is set to return to the stage for the first time since the passing of frontman Chester Bennington in 2017. The band announced plans for their From Zero World Tour, beginning on September 11 at the Kia Forum in Los Angeles. This marks a significant chapter for the band, with the addition of Emily Armstrong from Dead Sara as the new co-vocalist and Colin Brittain as the new drummer.
In addition to the tour announcement, the band also released “The Emptiness Machine,” their first new song in seven years. This comes ahead of their upcoming album From Zero, set to release on November 15.
The From Zero World Tour will include stops in major cities like Los Angeles, New York, Hamburg, London, Seoul, and Bogota. Pre-sales for LP Underground fan club members will begin on September 6, with general ticket sales starting on September 7.
This marks Linkin Park’s first return to live performances since their emotional tribute concert for Chester Bennington in 2017. Reflecting on their journey, Mike Shinoda shared the challenges of moving forward without Bennington, emphasizing the need for a vocalist who could handle the incredible range and tone Chester brought to the band.
