In a sudden political development, Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC) Chief Executive Member (CEM) Shemborlang Rynjah resigned from his post on Wednesday.
Rynjah, who represents Lyngkyrdem as a Voice of the People Party (VPP) MDC, tendered his resignation letter to KHADC Chairman Strong Pillar Kharjana. In his letter, he cited ill health as the reason for stepping down.
