The Mihmyntdu Water Supply Scheme, launched in March 2023 at a cost of Rs. 32 crore, has brought renewed hope to the residents of Mihmyntdu due to the swift progress of its implementation.
This scheme includes the construction of a dam, pump house, water treatment plant at Wah Sakti, multiple water storage tanks and the installation of pipelines to supply water to all households.
On Saturday, Jowai MLA Bah Wailadmiki Shylla inspected the ongoing work at Wah Sakti. He expressed satisfaction with the progress, noting that 95% of the work has already been completed.
