The MLA, H.B Nongsiej also known as Bah Brol in his speech extended his gratitude to the supporters both new and old, while stating that those that have joined now are the ones who have given him sleepless nights in the last election, and expressed happiness that this time they have come to work together.
Furthermore he said that he got what he had asked from the people to fight and win the election two times, and when he wanted to retire from the Executive Committee of the UDP, Mawthadraishan, he was not allowed which made him to decide the election in 2028 also if the public still sees him as fit.
Furthermore, he said that the public may be led astray by people who say that Bah Brol will be retiring soon so he will steal or corrupt for himself all the schemes of the public, but he said that the public should not be led astray because Bah Brol is a Christian and he shall not be able to pray if he is involved in corruption from the schemes meant for the public, instead of its not enough, he shall give from his own pocket also.
On this day, H.B Nongsiej inaugurated the MLA scheme of 2021-2022 which is about Rs.2.50 crores to 216 primary units and apart from this, contributions in the form of chairs were distributed to 65 villages along utensils to 55 villages.
