H.STALIN DIENGDOH INAUGURATES THE ANNUAL SCHOOL SPORTS MEET 2022, R.C SECONDARY SCHOOL, PYNDENDIWAH

Mawkyrwat, April 07: Pyndendiwah R.C Secondary School on the 6th of April organised the Annual School Sports Meet 2022 at the ground of Pyndendiwah village, South West Khasi Hills District in which H.Stalin Diengdoh, MCS, SDO of Ranikor Civil Sub-Division (retired) was the Chief Guest.

In this Annual School Sports Meet 2022, four groups competed, the Red House, Blue House, Green House and Yellow House in which the students participated enthusiastically. At the beginning, the students completed the March Past and March Drill in which Diengdoh received the salute as Chief Guest.

H.S.Diengdoh, retired MCS,SDO of Ranikor Civil Sub-Division in his speech as Chief Guest at the inauguration of the Annual School Sports Meet 2022 of Pyndendiwah R.C Secondary School said that this enthusiastic participation of the school students reminds him of 40 years ago when he was a school student like them now and in the school sports he enjoyed only the March Past and March Drill.

While encouraging the students he said that as school students they should be diligent, hardworking and have a fighting spirit in all aspects so that their aim and future can be bright.

He also that there is the time for sports is most enjoyable time in the life of the school students because sports gives them and makes their bodies healthy while also providing a clear and strong mind.

He extended his gratitude to the teachers who even amidst the many challenges faced in the recent times whether it be in their jobs as teachers or especially in financial matters, yet continue to have an ever giving spirit to complete their duty and to teach the students.

The day was made more vibrant by the welcome song from a student of Pyndendiwah R.C Secondary School, dance performance from the students of Pyndendiwah R.C English Medium School.

The gathering was conducted by B.Jyrwa, a teacher of Pyndendiwah R.C Secondary School which also had a brief speech delivered by the Headmaster, H.Jyrwa, S.Jyrwa,Myntri of Pyndendiwah village and the vote of thanks delivered by P.Jyrwa.
