Shillong: Wandonbok Jyrwa who has decided to exit from the taxi owners and drivers association has come forward to clarify that from his end he does not recognise or accept the new taxi owners and drivers association known as the urban and rural taxi drivers association.
Speaking to media persons, Wandonbok Jyrwa said that the emergence of this new group is purely due to the sticker prices, which he claims that the reason for his stopping the use of this sticker implemented by the people is on the basis of the regulation requiring a vaccination certificate to be stuck on the windshield of the taxis and the price of which is ₹150 without any receipts being provided.
