SHILLONG: Meghalaya Governor C.H. Vijayashankar on Wednesday approved the new Executive Committee (EC) of the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council (GHADC), led by Chief Executive Member (CEM) Dhormonath Ch. Sangma.
The approval comes two days after Dhormonath Sangma was elected as the new CEM during a special session of the Council.
In the newly constituted EC, Stevie M. Marak has been appointed as the Deputy Chief Executive Member (Dy. CEM), while nine others have been inducted as Executive Members (EMs). They include Sengbath R. Marak, Cherak W. Momin, Arbinstone B. Marak, Crozier G. Momin, Henen R. Sangma, Alphonsush R. Marak, Grahambell A. Sangma, Ashahel D. Shira, and Nehru D. Sangma.
