SHILLONG, May 03: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma reiterated that students seeking admissions into the undergraduate studies in private colleges,state government aided colleges do not need to appear for the Common University Entrance Test.
On being queried today, the Chief Minister said that the exemption granted for the State from the implementation of the CUET will remain for the coming years as well because no time period has been mentioned for the exemption.
