CRITICS PERHAPS HAVE NO OTHER WORK TO DO, SAYS CM AGAINST CRITICISM FOR VIOLATING SOP

SHILLONG, January 27: The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma has said that as a Chief Minister he has many duties and responsibilities to fulfill, and he has also said that why do people want to criticise and find faults with unnecessary things especially during this time when the talks to resolve the border issue is in process.

After the Chief Minister tested positive on the 21st of this month, many critical voices were heard that alleged the Chief Minister had violated Covid protocols because he attended office on the 25th and also took part in the Republic Day celebration yesterday the 26th.

Speaking with media persons today, Sangma said that the ones criticising him perhaps have no other work to do because as a Chief Minister he has much necessary work and duties to complete, and also added that he had been very cautious and strictly followed all the Covid precautionary measures and after he had fallen ill on the 21st, he had personally decided to not take part in the Golden Jubilee celebration of Statehood.
