Day 2 of the Big Futsal Fest 2026 at Thrive Sports Arena, Langkyrding delivered intense action as teams battled it out to secure their spots in the quarter-finals.
The day began with a dramatic comeback by the Department of Local Fund Audit, who overturned a three-goal deficit to draw 3–3 against My Meg Planning before clinching a 2–1 win in the penalty shootout.
Another thrilling encounter saw MIMHANS and Water Resources locked at 4–4 in regulation time. The match went into an extended penalty shootout, with Water Resources eventually emerging victorious 3–2.
In contrast, two matches saw dominant performances. Meghalaya Legislative Assembly FT secured an emphatic 8–0 win over ITI, while Shillong Police FT cruised past PHE with a commanding 13–4 victory.
