Shillong: The District and Sessions Court, Shillong, on Saturday remanded KSU member Banjoplang Dkhar to 14 days’ judicial custody after police produced him before the court in connection with the August 19 violence during a KSU bike rally.
Dkhar was arrested by police on Friday evening, September 11, in connection with cases arising from the incident.
Before being produced in court, he underwent a medical examination at Civil Hospital Shillong.
His mother, relatives and KSU members were present at the court to extend their support to Dkhar.
