Shillong: Dodanavah Eliana S. Nongrum of Synod Higher Secondary School, Shillong, who secured the ninth position in the SSLC examination with 566 marks, said that the key to success is to first place one’s trust in God and prepare sincerely from the beginning of the academic year.
Speaking to reporters after the declaration of the results on Tuesday, Eliana expressed gratitude to God for helping her achieve the distinction. She also thanked her parents, siblings and other family members for their constant prayers and support.
She further acknowledged the role of her teachers and the school Principal, saying their encouragement from the initial stages of preparation for the matriculation examination played a crucial role in her success.
Sharing a message for other students, Eliana said that while studies often come with challenges, preparation should begin from the start of the session and not be left until the last minute.
She also advised students not to hesitate in approaching their teachers whenever they face difficulties in any subject.
Notably, Synod Higher Secondary School, Shillong, has once again upheld its reputation for academic excellence, with its students consistently securing top ranks and outstanding results in the SSLC examination.
