Renowned musician Lou Majaw has gifted an electric keyboard to visually challenged young pianist Dakameai Lyngdoh Marbaniang from Smit, encouraging her passion for music.
Dakameai, who has been visually impaired since birth, is currently staying at Bethany Society and has shown remarkable talent and dedication to playing the keyboard.
The gesture, made through the Lou Majaw Foundation, reflects Majaw’s continued efforts to support and nurture young artists.
The moment turned special as Dakameai and Majaw performed together, playing Blowin’ in the Wind by Bob Dylan, creating a powerful blend of talent and inspiration.
The initiative highlights how music can transcend barriers and bring hope and opportunity.
