Complete eKYC or risk LPG supply disruption: East Khasi Hills Admin

HEADLINES

SHILLONG: The East Khasi Hills district administration has directed all LPG consumers to complete digital authentication and eKYC with their respective distributors, warning that failure to do so may lead to disruption in cooking gas supplies.

In a public advisory issued on Monday, the Deputy Commissioner (Supply) stated that compliance with Digital Authentication Compliance (DAC) and eKYC is mandatory to ensure uninterrupted delivery of LPG cylinders.

The administration also informed that a minimum gap of 25 days between refills will be strictly enforced. Any booking made before 25 days from the last delivery will be automatically rejected by the system.

Consumers have been urged to cooperate with distributors and complete the required formalities at the earliest. The advisory further asked users to contact their respective distributors for any assistance.
