Shillong: There are about 362 unfilled vacant posts in the Departments of the State Government which was revealed again by RTI activist of the State, Disparsing Rani while speaking with media persons today.
In this press conference of Disparsing Rani, it is understood that the unfilled vacant posts are in the departments of Health,Forest, Social Welfare and also Public Works Department or PWD.
What is strange to find from Rani is that even though these unfilled vacant posts have been found in the different departments, the State Government has allegedly not forwarded the information of the unfilled vacant posts to the District Selection Committee or to the Meghalaya Public Service Commission.
Disparsing Rani, a well-known RTI activist in Meghalaya has informed that there are 362 unfilled vacant posts in the different departments of the State Government as per the report of the RTI received from the Department of Health, Department of Forest, Department of Social Welfare and the Public Works Department or PWD.
