Shillong, August 30, 2024 – The U-15 football team from Nongjri Presbyterian School has returned home after securing a remarkable victory in the final of the Subroto Cup International Football Tournament in Bengaluru. The team triumphed over a school from Uttar Pradesh with a convincing 3-0 win, bringing pride and honor to Meghalaya.
The team was warmly welcomed by Mawhati MLA/MDC Charles Marngar, along with officials from the Sports & Youth Affairs Department, the District Sports Officer of Ri-Bhoi District, teachers, and other supporters.
