Shillong — A case of theft has been reported after valuables were stolen from an Alto 800 (registration ML 11 5530) parked near Fire Brigade Ground, close to Adventist School, on the evening of 18 November.
The complainant stated that the vehicle was parked around 7:30 PM before leaving for Bethany Hospital. Upon returning around 9 PM, they discovered that several important items had been taken from inside the car.
The stolen items include an HP Pavilion laptop, a purse containing crucial identification documents such as an ATM card, smart card, NEHU ID, voter ID, and two personal diaries. An FIR has been lodged at the Laitumkhrah Police Station.
The owner has appealed to the public for help, requesting anyone with information about the missing items to contact 8731844714, stressing that the laptop contains valuable data.
