Shillong, Nov 4 — Na Rympei Football Academy, Pay For Right Football Academy, and Jakrem SC booked their places in the semifinals of the inaugural Meghalaya Women’s State League 2025, joining Laitkor SC who advanced earlier after an emphatic 10-1 win over Mawten SC.
In Sunday’s matches at the SSA Stadium, Polo, Na Rympei (Ri-Bhoi DSA) crushed Bright Future SSCC (Pyndengumiong DSA) 8-1, with Pynhun Shulet scoring six goals. Jakrem SC (Mawkyrwat DSA) outclassed Diengshynrum SC (East Jaintia Hills DFA) 4-1, while Pay For Right FA (Shillong SA) edged Mawlum Tyrsad SC (Tyrsad Area SA) 3-2 in extra time after a thrilling contest.
Ridalin Suting was the hero for PFR, netting twice including the decisive 111th-minute winner, earning her the Player of the Match title.
The semifinals are scheduled for Saturday at 10 AM — Laitkor SC will face Jakrem SC at the SSA Stadium, while Na Rympei FA will take on PFR FA at the SAI Ground, NEHU.
