After the Chief Minister,Conrad Kongkal Sangma inaugurated the Meghalaya Grassroots Music Project last month, this project has move forward rapidly and in the past week, the youths with their natural talents in music got a chance to participate in events held across the State such as in Sohra, Jowai and in Shillong as well. On the starting day of this project, the local public got a chance to witness the talents of the youths of State without having to spend a dime. The MGMP enthralled not only the locals but also the tourists who really enjoyed themselves.

The aim of the Government in starting this project is to attract more tourists through music, and this will be held every weekend in the whole year.
