Shillong, September 07: Conrad K.Sangma who is the Chief Minister of Meghalaya said that it is not necessary to respond to the individual comment of one of the leaders of the BJP which is a coalition partner in the Meghalaya Democratic Alliance (MDA) Government.
It may be reminded that the BJP leader incharge of the party in Meghalaya, M Chuba Ao said that the BJP will withdraw support from the MDA Government in short subsequent time, and after that will push for an enquiry by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) on the corruption of the Government.
Over this statement of the BJP leader, Sangma who is also the National President of the NPP said that all this while BJP has been working hand in hand in the Government and they should not forget that if they point their fingers at the Government, they are also pointing the same fingers at themselves. He further said that this Government when it does anything, it does it with transparency, and it is not befitting to say that it is the BJP speaking against the Government, since it is only one leader who speaks against the Government and may be this statement of the BJP leader is because he has a personal grievance for it can be seen that the MLAs and other BJP leaders do not agree with what this leader has said in his statement.
