Nongpoh, April 12: As days go by, the wave of the 2023 Assembly Election is resonating louder with many leaders and office bearers of different political parties joining and exiting from one party to the other party, and today the exit of Congress,UDP, BJP and BJP leaders was witnessed as they officially joined the NPP of Nongpoh constituency.
The leaders of these different political parties were welcomed to the NPP by the National Vice President of the NPP, Prestone Tynsong in the presence also of Magdalene Sawkmie Mawlong who is also the NPP candidate who will be contesting in the Assembly Election of 2023, Sosthenos Sohtun,MLA of the NPP, Nick Nongkhlaw,State Youth President, MDCs which include Elvin Sawkmie,MDC from Mawsynram and others.
The leaders who officially joined the NPP included Plielad Tiewsoh, President of Nongpoh Block Congress Committee along with other office bearers of the Congress party, Iadalang Makdoh,Working President, Phis Narlong, Youth Wing President along with 300 other leaders and supporters of the UDP besides other office bearers of the UDP, PDF and BJP. At this event held to welcome these leaders from the different parties, more than 2000 people and supporters of the NPP attended.
