Pynthorumkhrah MLA A.L. Hek has expressed immense pride over Steve Jyrwa’s victory in India’s Best Dancer Season-IV. Jyrwa, hailing from Nongmensong village within Hek’s constituency, brought home the prestigious title, making his community and state proud.
The public organized a grand reception for Steve upon his return from Mumbai, where he clinched the title. Speaking to the media, Hek shared his joy, calling Jyrwa’s achievement an honor not only for himself as an MLA but also for the constituency, the village of Nongmensong, the state of Meghalaya, and Steve’s family.
The reception, initially scheduled for 2 PM, extended late into the evening due to the overwhelming turnout of people eager to celebrate Jyrwa’s success.
Steve is also set to meet the Governor of Meghalaya at Raj Bhavan to commemorate his achievement.
