The State Level Coordinator for Oil Industry in Meghalaya-cum-Manager (LPG-Sales), Shillong Area, Indian Oil Corporation has assured the public that the supply of Petrol, Diesel and Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remains normal and uninterrupted across the state.
According to the Oil Industry, all Public Sector Oil Marketing Companies, including Indian Oil Corporation, Bharat Petroleum Corporation Limited and Hindustan Petroleum Corporation Limited, continue to maintain stable and adequate fuel supplies throughout Meghalaya.
Officials stated that the fuel supply chain — from terminals and depots to retail outlets — is operating smoothly without disruption. Fuel stocks are being closely monitored, while replenishment activities are continuing efficiently across all locations.
The industry further informed that LPG supply to domestic consumers remains a priority and deliveries are continuing normally across the state. Authorities are also maintaining close coordination on logistics, stock movement and retail operations to ensure uninterrupted availability.
The public has been urged to remain calm, avoid panic buying and continue normal consumption patterns. Consumers have also been advised to rely only on official communications from Oil Marketing Companies for accurate information regarding fuel availability.
