Chief Executive Member (CEM) of the Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council (KHADC), Shemborlang Rynjah, has informed that the Executive Committee (EC) is yet to decide whether to continue organizing the annual Monolith Festival.
He stated that the committee will deliberate on the matter before making a final decision.
Responding to a query raised by MDC Grace Mary Kharpuri during the Council session, Rynjah clarified that the EC has not taken any stand on the festival’s future. He assured that thorough discussions will be held before arriving at a conclusion.
