SkillBox has announced the highly anticipated third edition of the Bloomverse Festival, a boutique celebration of music and arts set to take place in Meghalaya on February 14, 2025. This vibrant festival, known for its eclectic mix of alternate, subculture, and independent music, returns to the picturesque landscapes of Northeast India to mark the arrival of spring. For the first time, Bloomverse will also extend its reach with a special edition called Bloomverse Express in Bengaluru on February 16, 2025, bringing the unique spirit of the Northeast to a wider audience.
Having featured an impressive lineup of both national and international talent in previous years, including Anuv Jain, The Midnight, The Yellow Diary, Lifafa, and BLOT!, the festival has also championed emerging artists from the Northeast, such as Lucid Recess, Bishrut Saikia, Meba Ofilia, Chorun Mugli, Meewakching, and Polar Lights. The 2025 edition promises to be the biggest yet, with legendary rock band Mr. Big headlining the festival.
As part of their farewell “The BIG Finish Tour,” Mr. Big, featuring Eric Martin, Paul Gilbert, and Billy Sheehan, will perform their iconic album Lean Into It in its entirety, alongside other classic hits. This historic performance will be a landmark moment for the Northeast music scene, adding to the festival’s already stellar reputation.
In addition to its world-class music lineup, Bloomverse Festival 2025 will offer an immersive experience with captivating art installations, a wide variety of culinary delights showcasing local and international flavors, and interactive brand activations that add to the vibrant festival atmosphere.
Bloomverse Festival 2025 is set to be a memorable celebration of creativity, culture, and community, with its dual locations in Meghalaya and Bengaluru offering something special for everyone. Tickets are expected to sell out quickly, making it an unmissable event for music and art enthusiasts alike.
