SHILLONG, March 23: The Minister incharge of the Department of Education, Lahkmen Rymbui said that the Government is examining the demand of the adhoc teachers, and this matter was also discussed in the recently concluded Assembly session.
He said that as it is at present, the Government cannot do much in pushing the adhoc teachers to the deficit category but in the matter of increasing their salaries, the Government is examining it in detail.
Within this month 2 months salaries of SSA teachers to be released
With regards to the salaries of the SSA teachers, Rymbui said that he has spoken with leaders of the MSSASA and told them that the two months salaries will be released after the Budget Session of the State concluded. He said that the process for the same is ongoing and within this month the salaries will be released to the teachers as promised.
