Shillong: A black Maruti car veered off the Mawlai Bypass road and plunged into a nearby forest area.
A video circulating on social media shows the front of the vehicle badly damaged and it is suspected that the car crashed into a tree inside the forest.
Locals who rushed to the scene found two occupants inside the vehicle, both unconscious. They were immediately taken to a hospital for treatment.
According to reports, the incident occurred on Monday, October 13. It was further learned that the two occupants are residents of Mawtawar, Lum Mawsing and Mawlai Umjaïur respectively.
