Shillong: Police are trying to identify an unknown man who was found unconscious along the National Highway at Mawpun at around 2:20 am on November 18.
The man, believed to be between 35 and 40 years old and about 5.2 feet tall, was first taken to Bhoirymbong CHC for treatment before being referred to Civil Hospital Nongpoh and later shifted to NEIGRIHMS, Mawdiangdiang, where he is currently admitted in the ICU.
No identity card, mobile phone, or any personal document was recovered from him or from the spot, making identification difficult. He is described as having short hair, an oval face with Tibeto-Mongoloid features and was wearing a blue T-shirt with a black-and-white horizontal chest stripe along with blue jeans when found.
