Touchline Basketball Academy proudly announces the selection of its talented athlete, Vanessa Nongsiang, to the India Under-18 Women’s National Selection Camp in preparation for the FIBA Asia SABA Qualifiers 2026.
Vanessa is a student of Pine Mount School and represented Meghalaya at the 75th Youth and Junior Nationals in 2025.
In a historic milestone for the academy and the state ,Vanessa becomes the first women’s basketball player from the state marking a significant achievement in the academy’s journey of developing talent.
Her selection to the camp, conducted under the aegis of the Basketball Federation of India, is a testament to her dedication, discipline, and consistent performance. The national camp will serve as the final selection platform for the Indian team set to compete at the upcoming qualifiers.
