Seventeen-year-old Steve Jyrwa from Nongmynsong has made his community and the entire state of Meghalaya proud by securing a spot in the Top 6 of India Best Dancer Season 4. This achievement has brought immense joy to his family, the AMDA group led by President Bah Kitbok Thabah, and the Khasi-Jaiñtia community.
Steve’s family, including his mother, Bibi Jyrwa, expressed their happiness and called for public support by voting for him through the Sony Live App during the live shows on September 7 and 8 at 8 PM.
Bibi Jyrwa also shared that they come from a humble background, and the family has been supporting Steve throughout his journey. They are hopeful that he will reach the finals and emerge victorious.
AMDA President Bah Kitbok Thabah urged the government to extend support to talented youths from economically weaker backgrounds. He mentioned that a letter requesting assistance was recently submitted to the MDA government but is still awaiting a response.
