St Edmund’s College Shillong has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Emporium Training and Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Kolkata, to strengthen industry-academia collaboration and enhance student employability.
The agreement, signed in Shillong, was formalised by Sunil Britto, Principal In-Charge, and Anirban Mukherjee, Operations Manager of the consultancy.
The three-year partnership aims to equip students with industry-relevant skills, boost career awareness, and provide placement opportunities, particularly in aviation and hospitality sectors.
Officials said the initiative will help bridge the gap between education and employment, offering students access to professional training and career pathways in emerging industries.
