Shillong: The Ri Bhoi Youth Federation (RBYF), Bhoirymbong Circle, has issued a strong warning to vehicle drivers and two-wheeler riders, especially underage youths, against reckless and overspeeding driving which often leads to accidents and endangers pedestrians and commuters.
The federation also cautioned drivers who operate vehicles without a valid driving licence and two-wheeler riders who frequently ride without wearing helmets.
RBYF stated that the warning is part of its effort to cooperate with authorities in ensuring strict adherence to traffic rules and regulations, as careless driving often results in tragic accidents on roads and highways.
