MAWKYRWAT: Paul Lyngdoh, the Minister in charge of Tourism, Paul Lyngdoh on Monday inaugurated a tourist attraction named Synrang Mawrin Tourist Spots, located in Mawten, South West Khasi Hills District.
The spot was constructed under the 100-day (MGNREGS) Scheme, with a sanctioned amount of ₹1.50 crore and ₹10 lakhs from the office of Basin.
In addition to the Chief Guest, Paul Lyngdoh, MLA Renikton L. Tongkhar, L. Lyngdoh, the Myntri shnong of Mawten, I. Lawrynniang, the BDO of C&RD Block Mawkyrwat, and Y. Mawlong, ADC, along with other government officials and members of the dorbar shnong, were present at the inauguration ceremony.
