Nikita Porwal from Madhya Pradesh has been crowned Femina Miss India 2024, with Rekha Pandayy from Union Territories finishing second and Ayushi Dholakia from Gujarat taking third place. Nikita, an actor who began her career as a TV anchor at 18, was crowned by last year’s winner, Nandini Gupta, while Neha Dhupia adorned her with the Miss India sash.
Angelia Marwein from Meghalaya reached the top 7 and won the Miss Multimedia subtitle.
The grand finale, held in Mumbai, featured performances from Sangeeta Bijlani and appearances by notable celebrities such as Neha Dhupia and Raghav Juyal. The pageant featured 30 state winners who underwent extensive training before competing for the crown.
Nikita will represent India at the Miss World pageant, continuing the legacy of previous Miss World winners like Aishwarya Rai, Priyanka Chopra, and Manushi Chhillar. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the pageant, a special anthem titled “Rise of Queen” has been released globally.
