MPMC Condemns Discrimination Against Northeast Citizens, Seeks Swift Action

Meghalaya Pradesh Mahila Congress has strongly condemned incidents of abuse and discrimination against people from the Northeast.
Speaking in Shillong, MPMC leader Joplyn Shylla said it is deeply disturbing and unacceptable that citizens from the Northeast continue to face verbal abuse, humiliation, and even physical assault in other parts of the country.
She stated that such incidents are not isolated acts but violations of constitutional rights. Referring to a recent case involving a woman from Arunachal Pradesh, Shylla urged the Central Government to immediately arrest and take strict action against those involved.
