The High Court at that point of time insisted us that it (Roster system) should be implemented retrospectively which means from the inception of the reservation policy, said Dy CM Prestone.
“Way back in 2022, Hon’ble High Court has given the ruling and then we filed an affidavit not less than three times and pleading the High Court that they should allow us to implement Roster system prospectively but not retrospectively”, said Tyngson while speaking to reporters.
“The Hon’ble High Court at that time, they insisted and said it should implement retrospectively from the inception of the reservation policy”, he added.
However, he informed that once the Chief Minister is in town, the government will call for an all political party meet with all responsible leaders to share and discuss on how to move forward.
