Shillong: The Hmar community and other communities of Manipur residing in the State of Meghalaya met Meghalaya Chief Minister Conrad k Sangma on Monday to seek support from the State government to ensure peace is maintain in the State especially in Shillong.
The leaders of these communities have also seek support from the Chief Minister in helping evacuating the families of these communities during this hard times from the State of Manipur.
The CM have directed the Deputy Commissioner (DC) to take note on the matter.
From the NPP side, the Manipuri community leaders have asked the CM to take the matter and concerns with the central leadership in the political party level.
The NPP chief and Chief Minister Conrad informed that he will be travelling to Delhi soon and will definitely take up the matter concerning the peace in Manipur.
Chief Minister once again urges the people of Manipur and the communities that we must ensure peace is maintain and violence should stop and all problems that have arise should be solved through dialogues so as an amicable solution will arise to resolve all these violence.
