Shillong: Based on information received from a credible source, the Ri Bhoi police successfully apprehended an individual identified as Nurul Huda, a driver of a new tourist vehicle, in possession of 29.2 grams of heroin.
The accused identified as Nurul Huda, hailing from Nagaon, Assam, was taken into custody at Kyndong Umpling while en route from Guwahati to Shillong.
The driver has been arrested and is now facing charges under the relevant sections of the NDPS Act.
