Meghalaya Deputy CM incharge of Home (Police) informed that there is a serious lack of man power within the police department.
The Dy CM informed that government will recruit another 1500 police forces so the vacancies within the police department will be fill-up within this year itself. The process will be immediately after the on-going personal interview is concluded.
The Dy CM also informed that the personal interview for about 1000 plus post in the police department is going on.
