In an effort to encourage students to pursue Science, the Meghalaya government has decided to introduce Science courses in five government colleges across the state.

The colleges where Science will be introduced are Sohra College, Williamnagar Government College, Baghmara College, Mawphlang College, and Mahendraganj College.

Chief Minister Conrad K Sangma announced this decision on Monday after the state cabinet meeting. He stated that the move is in alignment with the National Education Policy (NEP) to promote education in the field of Science.
