SHILLONG, June 09: The Cabinet of the MDA Government approved the setting up of 3 colleges, Veterinary College, Dairy College and Fishery Colleges in the State.
The Chief Minister of Meghalaya, Conrad Kongkal Sangma while speaking today the 9th of June informed that the Veterinary College and Dairy College will be set up in Kyrdemkulai, Ri-Bhoi District while the Fishery College will be set up in Garo Hills and the exact location will be notified later after having been arranged by the Fisheries Department.
Another resolution undertaken by the Cabinet today was the amendment to the Meghalaya District Court Ministerial Services Rules, and this has been done as per the communication from the Meghalaya High Court.
As per the information given by the Chief Minister, as per the amendment,the District Courts will conduct interviews for recruitment as is done by the District Selection Committee, because in the past the recruitment process was carried out by the Office of the High Court.
