Shillong: Eight MLAs are set to take oath as ministers in the state government later this evening.
Those joining the cabinet include Timothy Shira, Brening A. Sangma, Sosthenes Sohtun, and Wailadmiki Shylla from the NPP; Methodius Dkhar from the HSPDP; Sanbor Shullai from the BJP; along with Metbah Lyngdoh, President of the UDP and Lahkmen Rymbui from the UDP.
The reshuffle sees the exit of several sitting ministers, including Comingone Ymbon, Ampareen Lyngdoh, Rakkam A. Sangma and A.T. Mondal from the NPP; Paul Lyngdoh and Kyrmen Shylla from the UDP; Shakliar Warjri from the HSPDP and A.L. Hek from the BJP.
